Convocation and Service of Commission for New Students
Convocation and the Service of Commission for New Students is the first of ESLA’s three major school feasts. Convocation calls us into community: students, faculty and families, old and young, new and returning. We celebrate the promise of the year ahead and the joy of being together to learn and grow. We also commission new students who are publicly charged to commit themselves to the four virtues of the school and to uphold the Honor Code.

All students are required to attend in their formal uniform dress. Families are encouraged to attend, as well. There will be a reception with light refreshments after the service.
