Girls' Volleyball

Our Upper School Girls' Volleyball team kicked off their season this past Wednesday with a tough game against Amino Watts. Having had just one official practice after try-outs ESLA's new squad got off to a flying start, winning the first set 25-5 after Team Captain Kari Brown served 8 aces to start the match. Amino Watts soon woke up, however, and came back strong to win the next 3 sets narrowly (25-18, 26-24, 25-21). It was Amino's 3rd game of a season they began on the 9th of August, so a very respectable effort from the newly formed ESLA team, Which has high hopes this season. Special mention goes to Gladys Holdorff, who came to life as a hitter in the third set.

We are looking forward to this week's game on Wednesday at 4pm at Poinsettia Rec Center vs. Jackie Robinson Charter.
