We hope everyone had a fun and restorative long weekend after our first week back. The school year is officially in full-swing! This week we have updates on ESLA's fall play, The Crucible, our new after school club programing, a calendar of upcoming events, as always, and a very special video starring ESLA's own Mr. Thorne and Mr. Brooks, shot and edited by Ms. Guerra.

FRIDAY PICK-UP REMINDER:

Friday pick-up is 3:30pm sharp for Middle School students and 3:45pm sharp for Upper School students. We have not charged parents for late pick-up thus far, but will consider initiating a billing system if this remains an issue in the coming weeks.

FALL THEATER: THE CRUCIBLE

Auditions for Arthur Miller's The Crucible will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 3:30-5:30 pm

Open to all Middle School and Upper School students.


After School Clubs start Monday, Sept. 12!

All clubs run from 4:00- 5:30 pm and are sponsored by the ESLA faculty. They are serious commitments and students who sign up should plan on attending every week. Students who are interested, but not sure about the club should plan on attending the first meeting.

Students must be dropped off at the Schoolhouse on 9/12 by 7:00 AM.
Pick up is at the Schoolhouse on 9/13 at 5:00 PM.

Monday, September 26 - Tuesday, September 27: 7th Grade Retreat

Students must be dropped off at the Schoolhouse on 9/26 by 7:00 AM.
Pick up is at the Schoolhouse on 9/27 at 5:00 PM.

Friday, September 23 | 4-6pm: Welcome to ESLA Extravaganza

Community Life Council will hold their first event of the year Friday, September 23rd from 4- 6 pm at the Schoolhouse. The Welcome to ESLA Extravaganza will be a party to show new students some of the great traditions of ESLA. All new and returning MS and US students are encouraged to attend wearing their team's color: red or white.
